The Sunderland eSports club is passionate about charity work and each month we dedicate our monthly events to a charity that is important to our members.

September is known as World Alzheimer's Month but was chosen as our dedicated charity by Aemrys, here is a message from them:

"Dementia and Alzheimer's have a long history in my family but most recently my grandmother and auntie have been diagnosed. As a biochemist, I know how much the disease affects the patients but as a grandchild I've felt how much the disease affects everyone who loves the person and with Alzheimer's Society, their work supports both the patient and the families which is why I nominated this charity for our events this month."
