Story
This May I’m running the Hackney Half to raise money for Refuge, a brilliant charity that supports women and children experiencing domestic abuse.
The work Refuge does is something I feel very strongly about. They provide safety, support, and a way forward for women and children during some of the hardest moments of their lives, and I’m really proud to be supporting them through this run.
If you’re able to donate, I’d be hugely grateful (no amount is too small).
Thank you so much — it really means a lot,
Suni Xx
A little bit about Refuge:
One woman in four will experience domestic abuse at some point in her lifetime and on average two women are killed each week in England and Wales by a current or former partner.
Refuge is the largest single provider of specialist services to survivors of domestic, sexual and gender-based abuse and runs the freephone, 24-hour National Domestic Abuse Helpline that provides the first step to women escaping abuse.
