Story
Super Mutts Alliance is a virtual dog show taking place on our Instagram page - but read on here to find out how to enter!
We’re raising money for Laughing At My Nightmare, who fund adaptive equipment and pathways to higher education for people living with disabilities.

Here’s how the virtual dog show works:
We have 12 categories, and each one costs £1 to enter. They’re sort of modelled after the classic village dog show - some sensible categories and some that are purely for fun. Here’s the list:
1. Best Dog - for all good boys
2. Best Bitch - for all good girls
3. Best Small Dog
4. Best Large Dog
5. Best Medium Dog (for anyone who’s not sure whether to go for #3 or #4. We’re okay with you deciding which size your dog is, no height limits here!)
6. Cutest Puppy (2 years and under)
7. Best Veteran Dog (8 years and over)
8. Best Trick
9. Best Fancy Dress
10. Best Doggy Duo
11. Dog Who Looks Most Like Their Owner
12. Best Impression of a Dog (for pets who are not dogs but would like to join in the fun. They are also welcome to enter categories 8, 9 and 11, and/or team up with a dog for category 10!)
Once you’ve chosen how many categories your pet is entering, pop your donation onto this page. JustGiving has a minimum donation of £2, so unfortunately you can’t enter just one category. 2 or more is great!
Your dog’s gender and size automatically qualifies them for 2 out of the first 5 categories, but feel free to ignore them and go for the more fun ones if you feel like it!
After donating, take some beautiful photos or videos of your pet to show off their winning qualities. You can submit a different one for each category if you like (we definitely need a video for category 8, Best Trick!) but a single photo can be used for multiple categories if that’s easier.
Head on over to @SuperMuttsAlliance on Instagram to submit your photos/videos. Be sure to include in your message the name that appears on your donation, and details of what categories you’re entering!
Most of the judging will be done by public vote on our Instagram, and will open once we hit our donation goal of £250, so be sure to have family and friends on standby to vote for your pup.
The actual format of rounds and voting will depend on how many entrants there are for each category, so we’ll work that out as we go along. For now, please help spread the word - and prepare for a cuteness overload that does some real good in the world!
