Story
Life's what happens whilst making other plans.
Simon's plan for over 2 decades was to build a house!
Simon lived his extraordinary, unique, alternative, carefree, loving and often hilarious life in those moments, days, weeks and months that occurred prior to and between the moments of house planning.
Our superstar, our rock. To know him was to love him instantly. We will miss you forever.
Simon became ill shortly after completing his lifelong plan of building a house in 2020, subsequently in October of 2022 he fell down a flight of stairs and suffered a massive brain injury, he was in a coma, on a ventilator. He progressed from Addenbrooks to Norwich hospital and then spent time in the wonderful rehabilitative Caroline House where the fantastic team there got him standing up, talking and eating again.
Superstar Simon sadly left us on the 24/07/24 to join the stars in the sky.
To honour Simon, we are raising funds for Caroline House, which is a specialist service for patients with complex neurological disabilities that are a result of conditions such as acquired brain injury and spinal injuries. Please donate what you can for our beautiful friend.
Charity donations are used to fund additional equipment such as sensory projectors, extra therapies such as Neuro Music Therapy and treatments like Speech & Language Therapy software. These would not be possible with NHS funding alone, and so your support is really appreciated to help make a difference for patients now and in the future.
