About Our Cause

By supporting the National Literacy Trust, you are helping us to empower every child, no matter where in the UK they grow up, with the literacy skills they need to succeed. Your donation enables the National Literary Trust to continue changing lives throughout the UK.

- £30 could provide a child with their first 5 books, setting the foundations with a love for stories and supporting their early literacy development.

- £50 could help to train a volunteer to give parents with low literacy levels the confidence and skills to help develop their child’s literacy and communication skills.

- £100 or more could contribute towards our work in communities facing the biggest literacy and poverty challenges in the UK, helping to create long-term change for children and families.
