Story
Supercar2Hospital will transform routine hospital visits into thrilling and unforgettable journeys for young patients dealing with long-term medical conditions. By providing 30+ rides to the hospital in a supercar over the next year, this programme aims to turn a day filled with anxiety into one filled with happiness and excitement. It’s designed to distract from the reason for the visit and create positive memories that children can share with everyone, leaving them with lasting moments of joy. Our mission is to give young people, facing some of the toughest moments in their lives, an experience that will inspire them and help them envision a bright future.
This programme will be run in partnership with Bright Futures UK (BFUK), the only charity dedicated to supporting children and young people in returning to education after taking time off due to long-term illness. BFUK provides tailored support to young people aged 5 to 24 who are undergoing treatment or recovering from physical or mental health conditions. In 2024, BFUK helped over 800 young people through over 5,128 hours of interventions, ensuring they stay on track with their education and well-being.
