Story
In loving memory Zachary James Tombling, we would like to help fund the redecoration of Room no.4 within the Horton Childrens Ward.
This is a room Zach well and truly laid claim too during his life. It holds special significance to us as a family but also to the ward staff, who have always referred to it as Zach's room.
It is a space that has played a major role in his journey towards the stars, and we would very like to fund its redecoration, from the tired, paint peeling off of the wall, to something all future occupants can enjoy.
In the photo's you can see for yourself the current state of room no.4, but also what is possible with your money!!!
A little bit about Super Zach. Zach was born on the 31/10/17 and sadly passed away recently on the 19/05/24. For 6 1/2 years my son has battled his main diagnosis, a rare genetic disorder called Menkes.
His life was full of suffering, he could not enjoy the basics. He was unable to walk, sit unaided, talk, eat, drink, grasp with his hands, he was fully reliant upon others 24/7 for everything...he simply could not be left alone. He suffered from seizures, kidney stones, low muscle tone, broken bones, dislocated hips, reflux and many more things that would make a grown adult cry.
But the one thing Zach had was an incredible amount of determination. He always kept moving forward, and he always did so with a smile. Even in the most dire of situations, Zach would have it about himself to smile. My friends, Zach was a real super hero, he inspired many, he bought joy to anyone in his presence, lets make him proud and redecorate room no.4!
