Story

Thank you for your time for visiting our page.

Prativa and myself (Suraj) with our two children are taking part in 10K walk from Lloyd Park to Croydon University Hospital on 14th September 2025, Sunday to contribute in raising fund to build a new therapeutic sensory garden for patient with Dementia.

We as a family love charity work and volunteering. We have been taking part in many fund-raising events and also actively volunteering at our local parkruns regularly during the weekends.

Someone in the UK develops dementia every three minutes and over 3,500 Croydon residents have a dementia diagnosis. Each year, half of all people living with dementia can expect to be hospitalised.

We both work for the NHS and are proud to have been serving the NHS already for combined total of 33 years. We are extremely delighted to have an opportunity to raise funds for the hospital where we work and the community we serve, to generate much needed fund to create the dementia garden by taking part in a sponsored walk - "Move for Good".

Your generosity and kind help for this good cause will be highly appreciated!
