Story

UPDATE: 24th June 2024 - JUST ONE WEEK TO GO. Take a look at my latest video diaries ....

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. Here's my story ....

In this, my 60th year, I'm raising funds for the Chekombero Special School for the Deaf in Western Kenya. It's a Salvation Army school requiring a substantial upgrade in order to welcome 'early years' pupils with hearing impairment.

Swimming is a passion and joy for me, and my aim is to swim continuously a whole kilometre (my last season's best was 500m) so I'm pushing myself out of my comfort zone.

I hope you will be able to support me in giving enhanced life chances through education to young children with great challenges in Kenya.
