Story
On Sunday 21st September, I will be taking on the Symonds Yat Challenge — all to raise vital funds to support women and children experiencing domestic abuse. As CEO of West Mercia Women's Aid, I reckoned it was time to step out from behind the laptop and face a physical challenge for once. I'm in training!
This daunting (for me, anyway!) multi-activity challenge will see our team:
🛶 Canoeing 8 miles along the River Wye from Kerne Bridge to Symonds Yat Rapids
🥾Then hiking to King Arthur’s Cave and up to the iconic Symonds Yat Rock, before looping back - totalling a 3 hour hike!
Every stroke and step will help fund our life-saving services, safe refuge, and a path to recovery and independence for women and children rebuilding their lives after violence and abuse.
💜 Please show your support by donating what you can. Your sponsorship means a great deal — not only to our team taking on this challenge but to each and every one of the survivors supported by West Mercia Women's Aid.
Thank you for your support!
