As many of our friends and family know, our bestie Nic got diagnosed as having Leukaemia nearly 3 years ago. As you can imagine this was utterly terrifying. Nic spent months on end in hospital away from her boys while under going treatment. She has endured countless chemo sessions, blood transfusions, a bone marrow transplant and much more. We are so in awe of the strength and courage she has shown whilst she battled the unthinkable.

Previously we walked the 7 hills of Edinburgh to raise funds for the ward in the Vic that became Nic’s second home. That was over 2 years ago so we’ve decided it’s time for another challenge. We have signed up for the Edinburgh Kiltwalk in September to raise funds for Blood Bikes Scotland. These amazing unpaid volunteers transport blood and other vital supplies to hospitals to help save lives, they were a huge part of Nic’s journey and we’d like to try and help give something back.
