Story

When I became Mayor on 22 May 2024, I undertook to raise funds for Counselling Matters Bexley and other good causes in Bexley.

On Sunday 2 May I’ll be joining my fellow London Mayors - in full civic regalia - on the annual fundraising ‘Whittington Walk’ -thst follows a route first taken by the legendary Dick Whittington, Lord Mayor of London, some 600 years ago. The walk starts at the Whittington Hospital, continues to Highgate Hill and ends at Mansion House in the City of London.

As this is an ideal fundraising opportunity, I’d really appreciate your help in raising funds for Counselling Matters Bexley and other good causes in Bexley. These causes are heavily dependent on volunteers so all donations, however small, will make a real difference to our most vulnerable residents.

If the £250 target is achieved then all donors will be entered into a draw and the winner awarded a Bexley Bear!

Thank you so much for your support! 🙏
