Far too many children arrive on their first day of school unable to engage in learning and sadly never catch up, despite the very best efforts of school staff up and down the country.

At Maritime Children’s Foundation we believe every child deserves the opportunity to thrive, no matter their background. Your support helps us provide essential programmes to ensure the families of babies and toddlers can learn how to give their children the best start in life, then are supported as their children grow up through primary and secondary school.

Why We Need You

Many children face challenges outside the classroom, limited access to resources, fewer enrichment opportunities, or struggles at home. Without support, these barriers often limit their futures.

With your help, we can expand our baby and toddler programmes, Saturday Skills Academies bringing joy back into childhood, and other programmes such as those creating communities of Dads. Together we can give parents and children the tools they need to succeed.
