Story
In October 2021, I was diagnosed with Stage 4 non-Hodgkin lymphoma. I started four months of chemotherapy with immediate effect. In March 2022, I was told the incredible news that my treatment was successful and that I no longer had signs of active cancer. I am currently having maintenance therapy to try to keep me in remission, which ends in January 2024, when I hope to have the news that it has been successful.
I am now feeling fit and well, both physically and emotionally, and embracing life with renewed vision. To show my appreciation for the invaluable support from Lymphoma Action during some of my darkest times, I am taking on two challenges to raise money for them - "ZIP for Lymphoma!" - Velocity Zip Line on 24th October 2023 and Rugby Half Marathon on 1st October 2023.
I am excited about these challenges and look forward to them both - honestly!
