Hi, I'm Annie

This summer I'll be taking part in the Yorkshire 3 peaks, raising money for the fantastic Leeds Community Healthcare Charity.

I'm a Mental Health Practitioner. I've worked with children and families all my adult life and before that I was a child. I've worked in Mental Health for over 15 years and am now working on a Children's and Young People's Mental Health (CYPMHS) Crisis Team. We are a hard working team dedicated to supporting children and families during some of the most challenging moments in their life. I'm passionate about my work and believe early mental health support can change lives.

I walked Pen-y-ghent with my team last year but this is the first time I've done all three. I'm looking forward to it.

Leeds Community Healthcare Charity aims to help enhance and improve the care that Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust provides to our communities. The charity has funded amazing projects such as, Care Packs for the Homeless, and A new minibus for Hannah House. These projects have made the difference to many vulnerable patients including children, the elderly and the homeless in completing their treatments and living a healthier life.
