We're raising money for Future Roots and the Countrymen's Club - based just outside Sherborne these organisations help some of our most vulnerable local people.

Young People go there who may have experience of being in care, who might have mental health or other difficulties that prevent them from attending mainstream education. The goal is to help them to learn to make good decisions.

Countrymen's Club is for older men to go and do outdoorsy things with other men - often the men are otherwise very isolated due to their age or health conditions. The wives and carers love the club for the energy it gives the men and the respite it gives them.

Both organisations are committed to building resilience to deal with the challenges of life through the use of the outdoors and green therapies delivered by trained and committed staff.
