Susan's fundraiser for Noah's Pink Balloon Leukaemia Fund

Susan Tesselaar is raising money for Noah's Pink Balloon Leukaemia Fund

Team: Team fundraising for Noah's Pink Balloon Leukaemia Fund

2025 Fulham 10k · 16 November 2025 ·

Created in memory of Noah Tesselaar, who was diagnosed with Leukaemia in May 2020 and died on 05th June 2020, aged five. Through funding medical research we support the future care, diagnosis and treatment of children with blood cancer and related infections to help save children's lives.

Story

Before lock-down I hated running (seriously) and then it became a lifeline - I promised Noah I would be with him every step of the way and the wonderful nursing staff at Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) encouraged me and reassured me that it was OK to leave his hospital bed to go for a run which I did wearing a bright pink running top and I ran so far one day I got lost!!

On Sunday 16th November, I will be wearing a Noah's Pink Balloon running vest to participate in the Fulham 10k to raise funds for our incredible research project with Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital as although Noah isn't here to cheer me on, a promise is a promise and he lives on through me!

Please help me help other children battling leukaemia or a life threatening condition by sponsoring me because Together, we can do so much, thank you.
