Story
Dipping to end sewage pollution and to inspire our children to use their voice to bring about change!

6am October 1st - I've started my 'Dip a Day' Challenge - in Portscatho, Cornwall and will be taking the plunge every day this month! (Having publicly announced it to the whole school -I have to follow through!). I forced myself up and out - and despite an element of dread - we were rewarded with a stunning dawn sky light... And our breath was literally taken away as we submerged ourselves in the sea! Great to have Suki alongside raising money and Amber the dog wouldn't miss out on a beach run or swim!
Surfers Against Sewage are a charity of water lovers campaigning to protect the ocean and all it makes possible, by taking action on the ground that triggers change from the top. Our 'Rights Respecting School', is looking forward to working closely with SAS in Cornwall during this next year - to raise funds and inspire and educate the next generation of children to be actively involved in bringing about change. Equally, we always encourage our children to step out of their comfort zone, rise to challenges and develop resilience - with a team encouraging them on! Please help us get to £500!
🌊 £10 could help Surfers Against Sewage free sewage pollution alert app – keeping thousands of water users safe. Through community action and campaigning, , SAS fight to end sewage spills, plastic waste, and environmental destruction. Donations directly support their efforts to hold polluters accountable, push for stronger environmental laws, and empower local communities to protect their waters.
All donations are greatly appreciated. Thank you - your support will keep us going every day this month!
