Faith in Schools does valuable work engaging with Newham schools to bring dynamic, interactive topics in RE lessons. As a Trustee, I am excited to be involved in the Pentecost Sponsored Walk around Newham churches and schools which is happening on Saturday 14th June. This event will celebrate our partnerships with schools and churches, and to raise vitally needed funds to help this important partnership work to continue. I aim to raise £500 towards the £5000 team target for local pupils to continue to meet local Christians and educational visits to churches.

I have chosen to walk with FIS because they share the love of Jesus with 30,000 Newham children at a time when 95% don't go to church. FIS provide excellent value for money - each pupil they work with costs £3.67 per year.
