Story
On 11th October, I’m running the Royal Parks half marathon to raise money for OPA Cancer Charity, a charity supporting people affected by oesophageal and gastric cancer.
Oesophageal cancer often goes undiagnosed and is caught too late. The OPA do incredibly important work raising awareness of oesophageal cancer, promoting earlier diagnosis and provide practical and emotional support to patients, carers and families. They offer free information and resources, promoting public awareness of these lesser known but highly dangerous cancers.
Having been through this journey as a family, we are incredibly lucky that Dad is now fully recovered however I wouldn’t want anyone else to have to go through it and I hope that OPA’s work in raising awareness and promoting early diagnosis can help bring us one step closer to that.
Any donation, however big or small, would mean a lot to me and will help the OPA continue on their mission.Thank you so much for your support!
