Tour de Lyme 2024 · 12 September 2024

Sarcoidosis is a rare disease and has poor information, support and little research for finding a cure. We work to change that. Our 4 goals; information, support, awareness and research. We receive no government money and are reliant on your generosity. Every donation makes a huge difference.

Story

In July 2015, my son, Robs stepson, Ollie and Harry’s brother James passed away suddenly after having a cardiac arrest as a result of undiagnosed Sarcoidosis. He was just 29.

Sarcoidosis is a rare condition that causes small patches of red and swollen tissue, called granulomas to develops in the organs of the body’s. Tragically for James he had the disease in several parts of his body, including his heart.

For the eighth year running on the 12th and 13th of September 2024 James’s family and friends will be cycling 144 miles from Malvern to Lyme Regis where he spent Many holidays with his family.
