Wates fundraising to date has supported 3 new advisors to focus on web chat support for young people who prefer that channel of communication, which has increased by over 60% in recent months. It also supports the HOPEline to open all night and to offer unique support in British Sign Language and in other languages.

Suicide is the biggest killer of young people under the age of 35 in the UK, every year over 1800 young people take their own lives. PAPYRUS provides confidential support and advice to young people struggling with thoughts of suicide, and anyone worried about a young person through their helpline, HOPELINE247.
