I am thrilled to be participating in a personal trek to climb Snowdon in support of SCA UK, with three of my wonderful friends. I had my SCA nearly four years ago. Having to be resuscitated and being without oxygen for 20 minutes I had to be put into an induced coma. As only 1 in 8 people survive an out of hospital cardiac arrest I know iam extremely lucky to still be here. The wonderful support of the SCA group has helped me and so many others get through this traumatic event. It’s run totally voluntary with everyone supporting each other. So they rely on fundraising to keep the group going.The money raised will go towards more defibrillators being put in more public places and more cpr training throughout the country.
