Team Charlie is our charity of the year at Hazlewoods and I am proud to be supporting our fundraising efforts.

This year I will be taking part in the Chillswim Triple Crown which consists of swimming three lakes, two of which are the biggest in England, end to end, all in the same year.

I will therefore be swimming Coniston (5.25 miles) on 20 June, Ullswater (7.5 miles) on 11 July and Windermere (11 miles) on 5 September. Whilst many will know i have swum these all before, I haven't done them all within 3 months!

Knowing i have raised money for this fantastic charity, with your support, will definitely keep me motivated through my training and the swims themselves.

Team Charlie was set up to support children in the UK, along with their families, who have been diagnosed with cancer. During their darkest times, they offer them much needed respite, so that they can do the normal things that families do - spend time away together and create memories.
