Story
Homelessness is everywhere, no town or city is immune to it. You don't need to look far to see people who have found themselves in the depths of hard times. We can all be guilty of looking up, looking away, looking at our watch, our phone, anything rather than engage. Some of us travel a lot in our jobs, visiting some spectacular places along the way. But, scratch that surface and you'll find a world of beautiful souls who for a variety of reasons have found themselves in hard times, and just a fraction of our attention can help to make a huge difference. We can't help everyone, but there is so much more we can do, and it starts here. On May 25 2025, we’re running the Edinburgh half marathon for this fantastic charity working tirelessly to make life a bit easier for people facing a daily struggle of life without a home and who many may have given up on. Thankfully, not everyone has and Homeless Project Scotlands wonderful volunteers, funded entirely by donations, supports those facing the toughest of circumstances.
We all do so much for charity, and if you can help with a donation thank you so much! If not, thank you for reading, and maybe next time you'll stop and ask if you can help - it's not about giving money, it's about showing compassion - 'how are you? Can I get you something - a sandwich, a coffee, chocolate?' The smallest of things can make more of a difference than you can ever imagine.
