Story
Whilst in Thorpe Hall volunteers visited one of Oundle Car Clubs youngest members, Bradley Hadman with their beautiful dog. This gave Brad a lot of comfort and companionship which as a great animal lover was very precious. We want to do the same for others in his memory. £140 will pay for 40 visits. Please put your name on your donation and we will put 5 tickets in the box for the 23 of August. We will also sell tickets on the night. Pets As Therapy is a national charity founded in 1983 by Lesley Scott-Ordish. Now like then, Pets As Therapy helps those in our communities most in need of animal companion therapy. Visiting volunteer teams and their behaviourally assessed PAT Dogs or Cats share the love of their own animal with people in hospitals, care homes, schools, prisons, day care centres and so many more establishments. The clients they visit benefit from the wonderful effect a companion animal brings, namely non-judgemental listening, tactile comfort & affection
