On Saturday 9 September, I'm climbing to the top of my office building (otherwise known as the Leadenhall Building or Cheesegrater) with a team colleague, Ben Sisokin, before abseiling down it to raise money for Tommy's.

People will definitely be surprised to hear that I would even consider doing something as left field as this but when I shared it with my team and Ben signed up, I knew I also had to step up. For the past few years, I've decided to challenge myself to do one thing that takes me out of my comfort zone every year as I've realised that that is where we find growth. And this is, of course, for an absolutely excellent cause.

Tommy’s provide expert advice and fund pioneering research to prevent stillbirth, miscarriage and premature birth. Many family, friends and colleagues have experienced all kinds of issues during pregnancy and childbirth and this is my way of showing support for them, and countless other women, in some small way.
