I have recently become the Chair of this great London environmental charity. This is my first fundraising event with them I will be walking, with other friends of CPRE London,12.5 miles along the River Wandle starting in Wandsworth and ending in Croydon.

We campaign to save and promote green spaces in Greater London, and to make our capital city a better, greener and healthier place for everyone to live in, work in, and enjoy. CPRE London is part of the national network of CPRE, the countryside charity.

We have a vision of London with a network of green spaces accessible to all, rich in nature and playing a crucial role in responding to the climate emergency.

Two of our great campaigns are to create a tree ring around London, (a M25 of trees if you like) and establish 10 new parks in London too.
