Story
Olly and I are taking on the amazing and slightly terrifying challenge of climbing Ben Nevis, the UK's highest mountain, in memory of Rory and Daniel, but also for all the other Footprints families and their babies.
There are 40 people climbing as part of the Footprints team, including some of our amazing volunteers, some of the bereaved families we have supported and also their family and friends.
It feels so special that my two oldest friends, Caroline and David and their daughters Poppy and Grace are also climbing with Olly and I, as well as our lovely friends Matt & Arabella, Neil & Dominic and Kerstin & Jon. I am so touched by their support. I am also really excited to be doing this challenge with Sharon, the other founder of Footprints. It’s really special to be doing this together.
We are raising money for Footprints as I know from first hand experience how important the type of support that the charity offers can be. My befriender was Sharon and she was my lifeline in the early days after the twins died. Being a part of the Footprints community is still really important for me in my own grief even now after 13 years.
Please donate any amount that you can as the charity is reliant on donations to deliver the bereavement services and provide ongoing support to families who have experienced twin or triplet loss, at any stage of their grief journey.
