Suzie and Claire walk Hadrian's Wall for Open Arms Malawi

Suzie Thomas and Claire Collins is raising money for Open Arms Malawi

Walking Hadrian's Wall · 9 September 2026

Open Arms Malawi is dedicated to saving and improving the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children in Malawi, so they can achieve their potential within the love and security of a home. We work closely with families and communities to raise healthy children and support them into self-sufficiency.

Story

On 9th September, we'll be taking on the challenge of walking the entire length of Hadrian's Wall - from Bowness on Solway to Wallsend - a total of 84 miles! We'll be taking on the challenge over 6 days averaging around 15 miles a day.

We're doing this for Open Arms Malawi - a charity we care deeply about. Working for the charity, we see daily the incredible impact of the work in Malawi - and want to do all we can to help more children and families.

Open Arms Malawi are dedicated to saving and improving the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children in Malawi. We work closely with families and communities to ensure children at risk survive their infancy and grow up to thrive within the love and security of their own home, whilst empowering the entire family to achieve self-sufficiency.

By donating today, you'll be helping to build brighter futures not just for the children who need it right now, but for the next generation to come.

Thank you for your support!
