Story
Dear friends and colleagues,
Dougie has roped me into another expedition!
On Saturday 17 Jan, we're setting off on a 100km hike through the Skeleton Coast in Namibia. It’s an exciting challenge, and we’re doing it to raise funds for a charity we both care deeply about - Action4Youth
Dougie has been involved with Action4Youth for a number of years, and has more recently stepped into the role of chairman. We have both had the priviledge of seeing the work that A4Y do, first hand.
A4Y is not a large national charity, but a brilliant local one. It works across Buckinghamshire to support young people, particularly those who are vulnerable or facing disadvantage. Through outdoor learning, skills development, mentoring and wellbeing programmes, Action4Youth helps young people build confidence, resilience and a sense of possibility for their futures. Its work is practical, hands-on and genuinely life-changing — and because it’s local, the impact is immediate and visible.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, and for your support. It truly means a great deal to us, and to the young people Action4Youth serves.
With very best wishes,
Suzie (& Dougie)
