Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page - see below for my list of challenges in 2024/25.
As many of you will know I sadly lost my Dad in March 2023 following many years of suffering at the hands of Alzheimer's Disease. This is such a cruel condition which has a devastating impact on the person but also a significant impact on their family and friends.
To support people currently suffering with dementia and hopefully contribute towards finding a cure, I am running the London Marathon in April 2025 to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society. If you could spare any money to support this important cause it would be amazing.
Around 1 in 14 people over 65 now has dementia and this rises to 1 in 6 people aged over 80. It can also affect younger people too. It is time to end the suffering that this condition causes.
I will keep updating the page below as I go!
Thank you.
