In the middle of the community lies this little gem of a building called "swalwell community centre" this centre is at the heart of the community and over the years we've built an amazing bond with all the residents near and far. We work closely with the local parish and also local schools and businesses. We have a small team of volunteers who strive to build and strengthen the community to its maximum ability in every way. We have many clubs/classes and drop ins to suit all.we work closely with brighten the day which runs several times a year including Easter,summer and Christmas holidays and these are accessible everyday to the public and all are free events which children can come along with parents and have an amazing day. from painting to crafts,animals or gardening to nerf parties and days out you won't be bored . Over the past few years the centre has been very busy and has had constant use and is in dire need of some TLC to get it back to its glory and we importantly need a new heating system. We won't ask much but they do say every penny helps and this will make a massive difference in the community and we will use this to benefit as many projects as possible. A massive thank you to all for supporting us over the years and here's to many more.
