Story
This year I’ll be running the Ealing Half Marathon to raise money for CAPE, a charity that has supported adults with complex mental health challenges for over 25 years.
I ran the half marathon last year to test myself and push my boundaries, so it’s a blessing to do it again — this time for a cause that matters.
Mental health is something I care deeply about because it’s still not talked about enough, especially as we get older and life’s responsibilities grow. We tend to feel expressing our feelings or issues makes us a burden to others
As a man, this message resonates with me. In the UK, suicide is the leading cause of death for men under 50, often linked to stigma and the pressure to stay silent. But mental health affects everyone, and everyone deserves support.
That’s why CAPE’s work matters. They provide therapy, emotional support, and safe spaces for people who might otherwise struggle to get help. Last year was personal — this year it’s bigger than me.
If you’re able to donate, any support would mean a lot.
Thank you for being part of the journey. 🏃🏿♂️💙
P.S. I can’t wait for those hills again 🥲
