Thanks for supporting our fundraising. This year we have chosen Macmillan as our charity for our Annual Sponsored Swim event at SwimSchool. Joanne and Megan have taken on the Macmillan 'Swim It' challenge of swimming the width of the English Channel, 21 MILES!!! (33.8 km) over the 2 months of June and July. Joanne and Megan will be kicking off their swim target with a 1 mile swim in Lake Windermere on Sunday 11th June, participating in ‘The Great North Swim’.

We have also chosen to tie the event in to celebrate our 2nd BIRTHDAY, so this event is going to be huge!

As well as the challenge of swimming the distance of the Channel, we would love the children to be involved and participate in their own sponsored swim. The sponsored swims will take place during the week of: Monday 26th June - Saturday 1st July 2023. Lessons will be as usual- so no difference to lesson times (unless told otherwise). The children will complete as many lengths as they can within their 30-minute lesson. We will tally up the total number of lengths that all the children swim across the week and provide a GRAND TOTAL! 50% of lesson fees for that week will be donated by Joanne and Megan to the JustGiving page, which is linked below.

Alike our last charity event, we are holding a raffle to raise even more money for Macmillan! We would massively appreciate if anyone who has a small business would be able to donate something for our raffle, to help such a worthy cause.
