Join Me on My Marathon Journey

For nearly 40 years, I have dreamed of running a major marathon. This year, to mark my 40th, I am excited to announce that I will be travelling to the other side of the world, down under, to participate in the Sydney Marathon.

Running the Sydney Marathon will be a huge personal milestone but it is also an opportunity to make a difference as I have chosen to dedicate this run to supporting a charity close to my heart, Paces Charity.

Paces, based in Sheffield, was founded by parents of children with cerebral palsy in 1997 and has worked ever since to support those families, children and adults who are living with neurological conditions.

I am reaching out to ask for your support in two ways:

1. To ask for kind financial contributions. Your donations will go directly to Paces Charity, helping them continue their impactful work. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference.

The marathon takes place on 31st August this year but I will also be using the Sheffield Half, Manvers 10k and Round Sheffield Run as key milestone challenges along the way. Your support will not only help me cross the finish line but will also bring us one step closer to making a meaningful impact through Paces Charity.
