Animals are often the forgotten victims of war and the animals of Ukraine are not an exception. In April 2025, myself and fellow veterinary surgeons, plus a team of dedicated veterinary nurses, technicians and volunteers will embark on a crucial mission to the West of Ukraine with Worldwide Vets. This two-week outreach, known as Operation Ukraine 2025, aims to provide vital assistance to the many abandoned animals in the region. Our primary focus will be on sterilising stray animals to reduce population densities and improving their welfare, while also extending help to owners of pets from low-income households.

No animal will be turned away during this time, ensuring that each animal will receive the vital care it deserves. The impact of our work will be direct and positive, offering these animals a chance at a better life. Your support is invaluable and will enable us to make a meaningful difference in the lives of these animals. I promise you that I will work tirelessly during our outreach and do everything in my power to help as many animals as I can.
