Story
This event is being hosted by South Yorkshire Police, with our colleagues from Greater Manchester Police.
All our fighters are novice with many of them stepping into the ring on this night for their first white collar contest. They have been training hard for this event in the hopes to not only win the "Battle of the Blues", but to also raise money for a charity cause that is close to the hearts of the policing family.
COPS provides peer support opportunities and access to counselling services to help surviving family members (‘survivors’) rebuild their shattered lives.
"Your loss is a part of who you are but COPS helps you realise that it doesn’t define you. We are all one big family."
Since its foundation in 2003, COPS has helped hundreds of police families devastated by the loss of a loved one who died on duty.
