Story
The Integra Wildcats are rowing again for the fifth year in a row in the annual Dragon Boat Festival at Bewl Water whilst fundraising in support of the Chartwell Children's Cancer Trust.
The charity is of personal importance to the Wildcats' Team Captain, Szen Ong, as they supported the family while their late 12-year old daughter, Annamaria Ong, went through 18-month of intensive cancer treatment. Even after the passing of their daughter on 26 December 2016, the Chartwell Children's Cancer Trust continued to provide emotional support to the family, especially to their then 10-year old son, in coping with the loss of his beloved sister.
The Ong family have continued to support and fundraise for the Chartwell Children's Cancer Trust since 2017 with the sole purpose of helping the charity in supporting other childhood cancer families as they navigate through their own personal fights against this horrible disease.
We hope all friends and family would join them in their efforts again in the 2026 races and help achieve their fundraising goals.
