Those who find themselves in crisis are vulnerable and often suffer from mental health challenges, having endured repeated traumatic stress throughout their lives. Happy Days supports people who are homeless or in crisis by helping them access the advice and services they need to bring about sustainable change.

From providing access to food banks and supported accommodation to promoting social enterprise, Happy Days strives to create a brighter future for all.

A recent Kings College study on a sample of around 100 homeless individuals found that one in ten of those on the street would likely meet the diagnostic criteria for autism spectrum disorder. As someone on the spectrum, I understand how different circumstances can lead to vulnerability. The reality is that given the wrong set of circumstances and lack of support, it could happen to anyone.
