Sponsor me on here and your money will change the lives of people affected by motor neurone disease in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

I am walking from my home village of Sileby Leicestershire, to Wells next the sea Norfolk to raise funds and awareness for Motor Neurone Disease (our local branch Leicestershire & Rutland) this affected our family in 2022 when my husband was diagnosed. It was a quick journey from symptoms, diagnosis to us sadly losing him.

Not only does this horrendous disease affect the individual physically, personally and emotionally but the family too.

We hadn't heard of this disease much but when we did we found how different it is for every individual and their needs so varied.

Sadly by the end Ady needed physical and personal support, struggled with walking, eating and eventually talking, it takes the person you know and love so quickly.

It's time to fight back, help to give what is needed to individuals such as physical adaptations, financial support and importantly to find a cure!!
