🌟 We’re proud to announce that our Charity of the Year for 2025 is Prosper Wakefield District! 🌟

This year the team at Thornton Jones will be joining Walk with Wakey for the 8 mile walk from Wakefield Trinity Rugby Club to Castleford Tigers to raise awareness and funds for The Wakefield Children’s Bed Appeal!

Prosper has been changing lives in communities across Wakefield for over 200 years. As the largest independent grant maker in the district, they support charities and community organisations working with those in the most deprived areas, helping people with the greatest health and wellbeing needs.

This year, we are joining Prosper to support their vital mission: to ensure every child in the Wakefield District has a bed to sleep in. A bed is more than just a place to rest, it’s a safe haven that can transform a child’s health, education, emotional wellbeing, and future.

We are honoured to be part of this initiative and look forward to raising funds and awareness to help give every child in Wakefield the stability, comfort, and hope they deserve.
