In September I will take part in the Great North Run and am using the opportunity to raise money for Cumbria Police Dogs Benevolent Fund.

Cumbria’s retired police dogs often face significant health challenges in their retirement, a result of the strenuous nature of their service. This can lead to costly veterinary treatments that place a financial burden on their new owners. CPDBF currently support 22 retired Cumbria Police Dogs which include a variety of breeds such as German Shepherds, Belgium Malinois, Dutch Herders, Springer Spaniels, Labradors, and Cocker Spaniels.

Every donation directly impacts the quality of life for these amazing animals, allowing them to receive the best care possible.
