My sister Emelia and I are running the Edinburgh Marathon to raise money and awareness for Charlotte's Rooms charity, and to support my dear friend Emma, who sadly lost her sister Charlotte in 2023. Emma has been a great friend to me, and is one of the smartest, funniest and most supportive people I know, so raising money for this charity will be an honour. This challenge will be mine and my sisters second marathon together, and although training so far has been far from perfect, we are dedicated to getting over the finish line and would love your help to support this cause.

Charlotte was a loving mum, fiancée, daughter, sister and friend. She will be forever missed. During Charlotte's short stay in intensive care, the staff not only provided excellent care to Charlotte but also amazing support to her whole family. Since losing Charlotte, this fantastic charity continues to raise money for Leeds Hospitals Charity to support families in similar circumstances.
