Story

As part of their YOU Challenge students will be running / walking the 26 miles of a marathon as a team. This is to raise money for St Augustine's in Halifax.

An overview of their work can be seen below:

We believe that people seeking asylum, like all of us, are human beings who deserve to live in safety - no one should be forced to live in a place where they are at risk of grave danger. In the past year, we have helped over 1,500 men, women and children with advice on immigration and asylum and offer a range of training, creative and wellbeing activities.

We can't do what we do without the support of our communities and we have created the All Together 24 Challenge to inspire you to get moving and help those seeking sanctuary when they need it most.

Please join our All Together 24 fundraising challenge to walk, run, climb, cycle, swim, row, and push, a collective 24,901 miles - the circumference of the Earth! Together we'll aim to raise £24,000 in 2024.

WE WILL ALL COMPLETE OUR CHALLENGES AND CELEBRATE OUR SUCCESS ON 20 JUNE AS PART OF REFUGEE WEEK.
