Story
This page has been set up to honour our beautiful daughter Tahlia, who had type 1 diabetes and sadly passed away from a hypoglycemia brain injury. Tahlia was 13 and left two sisters, mum, dad, grandparents, aunties, uncles, friends, teachers, nieces and nephews behind.
We have received many beautiful flowers, but I think another way to support us and acknowledge the passing of Tahlia is to donate to Breakthrough T1D, which, from the moment we found them, has been a tremendous source of support.
Breakthrough fund world-class research to treat, prevent and cure type 1 diabetes and campaign to promote access to better treatments and technologies for everyone with type 1.
Tahli has featured in some of their campaigns 💙.
Tahli was BEAUTIFUL. She was funny, kind, sassy, and sang, acted and danced through life. She had so much confidence, and I really admired her; she never let her diabetes get in the way.
At present, there are no words to encapsulate how we are feeling. We accept that she is gone, but now all that is left is a gigantic hole in all of our lives.
If you can give... please do. 💙
