Story

Our daughter Lily is diagnosed cerebral palsy. She is now 15 years old and needs her own independence, space, privacy, and dignity.

For years, we have been working tirelessly to provide a full wheelchair accessible bedroom and bathroom facility for Lily. This will allow her to bring her powered chair home and give her greater independence. Thanks to the disabled facilities grant from the local authority, we are getting closer to our goal. However, the grant does not cover the full value of the build.

Lily needs specialist bathroom facilities which are very expensive and we are reaching out to our friends, family and wider community for help.

This extension is life-changing for Lily as it will give her the dignity and privacy she needs as she becomes a young adult. We are grateful for any support you can offer us in this journey. That's why we've partnered with Tree of Hope charity to help us reach our target amount of £1,000.

We're excited to announce that we'll be participating in a personal trek event called 'Take a hike for Lily' on January 27th, 2024 in support of our fundraising efforts. We hope you'll join us in making a difference in Lily's life by donating today through Tree of Hope's secure platform.

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
