Take a seed is a one time solidarity concert and artistic evening that will take place may 23rd 2025 at La ferme du Biereau, Louvain-La Neuve, Belgium.

It is a unique event that erases borders and unites us in our shared humanity.

An Evening of Solidarity , to the sounds of the instruments and voices of those for whom "LOVE" is still the answer.

About the GazaSunbirds :

The GazaSunbirds are Palestine’s para-cycling team, gaining global recognition over the last fifteen months for delivering aid in the strip. The team of amputee athletes formed in 2020 with a dream of representing Palestine on the sporting world stage. Forced to give up their training regime in 2023 due to the Israeli bombardment, they turned their attention to supporting their local community. Since then, they have been risking their lives on one leg to distribute $420+ USD worth of food and supplies in Southern and central Gaza.

Last year, team captain Alaa al-Dali was evacuated to fulfil the Sunbirds dream of flying the flag in a global arena, to spread awareness for Palestine and to send out a message of hope. In September, he made history as the first Palestinian to ever race at the second largest Para-cycling event: the UCI World Championships.

The GazaSunbirds para-cycling team has reverted all its resources to providing community-led aid to Gaza. To date, our athletes and staff have distributed over $400,000 USD worth of aid.

Regardless of how bad the situation gets, we are determined to continue supporting our communities through these tough times. Our grass roots network prepares and distributes parcels of essentials to the communities around us.
