The UK's leading charity for veterans' mental health. For over a century, we've helped former servicemen and women deal with issues like trauma, anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Today, we provide support to veterans from every service and every conflict.

Story

Combat Stress are the UK’s leading charity for veterans’ mental health.

For over a century, they’ve helped former servicemen and women deal with trauma-related mental health problems such as anxiety, depression and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

They’re on a mission to raise awareness that invisible injuries can be just as hard to cope with as physical ones. So when a veteran is having a tough time, they’re there to help them tackle the past and take on the future.

Our team of chums have come together to take part in the 10th running of the Race of Remembrance in Anglesey over the weekend of 9/10th November 2024

Our entry is running under the banner of Takona Racing Division, which is a part of the Takona brand created by Lewis Warren.

In addition to raising money for Combat Stress and Mission Motorsport, we wanted to help Lewis Warren, the founder of Takona, in his mission to encourage us all to talk more often.

Loneliness can be one of the biggest challenges for Veterans suffering poor mental health following their time in the Armed Forces and by combining the objectives of Mission Motorsport, Combat Stress and Takona, we are helping to wave the flag for greater community engagement.

All donations are going direct to Combat Stress.

Thank you on behalf of the team.
