Story
Hi, I’m Tali, a companion animal vet and (as of recently!) a soon-to-be marathon runner.
In April, I’ll be taking on the London Marathon (my very first full marathon) to raise money for an incredibly important cause: improving the lives of animals in captivity around the world. I’m running as part of Team Wild Welfare, and I’d love your support!
Why Wild Welfare?
Right now, thousands of captive wild animals kept in zoos, aquariums, and other facilities, are living in inadequate conditions without proper care, enrichment, or protection.
Wild Welfare is an incredible organisation dedicated to changing that. They work globally to improve animal welfare standards, train animal care teams, and ensure captive animals receive the conditions they need to thrive.
Their work helps animals of all shapes and sizes- from elephants and tigers to emus and tortoises. Every species matters.

How You Can Help
By donating to my fundraising page, you’ll be supporting Wild Welfare’s critical work. Your donation will help:
- Improve living conditions for wild animals in captivity
- Support on-the-ground training for animal care teams
- Fund vital welfare assessments and rescue interventions
Thank you so much for reading and for helping me make a difference for animals who can’t speak up for themselves.
